POEM-EMOTIONS

Happy as a painter after finishing
a masterpiece
Happy like a pilot achieving a
new mission
Sad as a child after loosing a Haagen-Dazs
scoop of ice cream
Persistent as a fledgling learning how
to fly
Jolly as a rain drop falling from
the sky on a cloudy day
Guilty as
a fox after stealing a hen’s eggs
Surprised as a butterfly taking its
new vision of the world after being a caterpillar
Smart as a cheetah sneaking up on
its prey
Sad like a squirrel after
eating all its winter supply of nuts
Glad as a leaf moving constantly
with the wind
Disappointed like
a sequoia being cut down by 32 lumberjacks.
Proud like a
Gator graduating from school
